AS GOP TENSIONS REACH NEW HEIGHTS, THURSDAY DEBATE WILL BE A 'LADDER MATCH.'

A couple immediate questions come to mind. First, Newt Gingrich even being entertained for president..C'mon, not to sound like Pelosi, but that wasn't going to happen in an era when Soundgarden were young and popular.  Second, America needs to step back and take a breath and notice that old-school 'wrasslin' is actually becoming as sophisticated as daily politician discourse-the ultimate irony being the wrasslin' crowd has actually tried to get more sophisticated, while the women/men who control our country seem to be in a race to the gutter. Finally, we hope we can find the video clip from the movie 'The Wrestler,' based on an actual east coast wrestling circuit incident, because we would love this whole GOP debate thing to finally make Mitt Romney's ghetto side come out, and he just beat an uppity Newt Gingrich unconscious on live television to the chants of "Use his leg!!! Use his leg!!!! Use his leg!!!!!!!"

I think this may be the worst election year ever. The cheap shots are a plenty, the pocket book is empty. I'm sick to death of all the drama already.

Peace my friend.

Tim. I will blow your mind, though. Almost everyone I know {I don't 'do' the percent-er thing} is suffering, or even worse, struggling to get adequate services for people trying to live their last few years with deserved dignity. Despite the speed cameras {rage rising..rising..} there are no state services. Have you considered how much money it takes these days to operate a nayional political campaign throughout the states. Trust me, the guys on the tour bus aren't eating cans of tuna/bologna sammiches...and to get votes they are buying caviar and champagne for thousands....EACH AND EVERY BLOODY DAY. Think about that for a moment.

Not on subject, but what is the name(s) of that wrestler in the first pic? I think he wrestled under 3 monikers, with one being "Big-something or other". All I can think of is "Big Country", not sure that is correct.

That would be Mick Foley/Mankind/Dude Love..In all fairness, I still think he owes me royalties because I used to wrassle at the Old Flying Club under the name 'Dude Love.' Guess they didn't get the check with the copyright application. Foley possibly best known for his cage matches against the Undertaker {seen tributing Flair in the video}. There is actually an HBO-like special which shows the behind-the-scenes footage that night at WWF WM when Undertaker and Foley were ON TOP of the cage...and the roof gave out under a choke slam...it was neither planned or easy to absorb. Even more prolific during the same match is when Undertaker tosses Foley onto a ringside table, pretty much missing the table. foley's wife and kids watched in horror ringside; they would never attend another Foley match, and likely, gave him the ultimate sense to retire while he could walk {limp} away.

Oh, and i still have to have dinner, but am watching higlights of what I believe was that night in 1998? Hell in a Cell.. If you listen to the commentators, they almost break character almost pleading for foley to stop....it i simply an epic entertainment display!! I really think for a second Undertaker, and everybody else, thought Foley was dead when he pretty muched missed the table from 3 stories..
